Actually, if you're in 'Merica and driving on the right side of the road you'll
find more puddles there.  The lights get more chances to catch and hold some
water.  The more water the more corrosion.

Mine came with the plastic lens/holder cracked from the heat both front and rear
on the right side and the sockets and wires so corroded I had to replace them
completely.  When you do this make sure to solder the wires for permanent
connection and use some heat shrink over them vice that tape that'll give up the
ghost in a few weeks.  Also, pack all the connections with grease.  It'll keep
the water out and won't hurt the electrical connections.
