'99 <E36> & <E46> 6-cyl engines

Evan,

The E36 and E46 engines are indeed different. The E36 has a single vanos and it
only has two points of adjustability. The E46 is dual vanos and is continuosly
variable. This applies for both the 2.5 and 2.8 liter engines.
