just to make sure, does anyone know if 2.5L engines in the E46 323i and
the E36 323is/ic are different? And while we're at it, how about the E46
328i & 328is/ic 2.8L engines?>
Evan,
The E36 and E46 engines are indeed different. The E36 has a single vanos and it
only has two points of adjustability. The E46 is dual vanos and is continuosly
variable. This applies for both the 2.5 and 2.8 liter engines.
