<E34> Stereo/Amplifier question

I am looking to add a little more bass to my stock stereo in my 1990 535 and
I am planning on adding a bass tube and an amplifier.  The new amp will only
run the bass tube.  The stock amp and speakers will remain unchanged.  My
questions are:

1.  Will the bass from the tube in the trunk make it inside the car or
should I remove something?  I read something about removing speaker buckets
to allow the  bass inside the car, but that was an M3.  I don't want to cut
anything.

2.  Which low input wires going into the amp should I splice into to feed
into the other amp?  Is there a wiring diagram anywhere.  The Bentley shows
the wires, but now what they are.

3.  Any other comments or suggestions would be greatly appriciated.  I am a
novice in this area.
