MY 2000 E39s: When? When to buy?

Hi, all.

On the E39 message board, there was a posting about the model year 2000 cars
being announced in March for June production.  What do you folks think about
this?  I'm thinking about a '99 540i 6-speed, but I'd be VERY unhappy if I
took delivery just as the next year's models were announced.

Thoughts / ideas / suggestions??
