<WOB> Let's compare the E30 325 vs. Dodge V10 pickup

 Recently returned from a visit home to MI to see family.  Borrowed
Dad's 5th-wheel camper tow vehicle, a Dodge 1-ton dually with V10
engine.  Drove it in the snow and in the dry, with no weight in the
back.  My comments:
 Acceleration: Although the BMW is faster, the grin factor is high
when you can get some wheelspin and hit 60 in 9.5 seconds with a
vehicle that huge.
 Handling: The pickup has a comfortably long wheelbase, but loses
points with the truck-like suspension and large turning radius.
 Snow: Doing parking lot donuts with the pickup is fun because once
you get the back end moving around, it doesn't stop for a couple of
hours.
 Interior room: Have to go with the extendo-cab pickup here.
 Motor: oh, the torque 10 cylinders provide!  Would love to transplant
that into my bimmer, although 10 mpg is a little harsh.
 Conclusion: I'm glad to be back in my own car.  The pickup is best
left to towing.
