[E36] Removal of Glove and Shifter Pieces

Hi.

I recently bought wood pieces for my car.

They are adhesive, and one piece is supposed to go on the dashboard in the
part where the glovebox is (the rectangle piece).  And the other piece is
the shifter plate (automatic transmission).  So this is inner piece which
surrounds the shifter and the A/M button.

Does anybody know how to remove these two pieces?  (So I can replace them
with th wood pieces).
