Telling the difference between the 2 isn't easy for the average joe. The
engines appear to look identical but they are not. The super ETA intake
system is smaller than the i intake. The tubes in the manifold itself are
very small, even smaller than a regular ETA intake. The throttle housing is a
miniature i throttle housing. Injectors are white and the rail has a 2.5 bar
fuel pressure regular. If you're still not sure what engine you have ....pull
the valve cover off and look at the cam and springs. Super ETA's had E cams
with single valve springs. Sounds like you might have a super eta engine in
your 325i.
