RE: PizzaFest III

Between the casinos and everything else, that's the BEAUTY of Nevada,
there's not much that isn't LEGAL!

Only problem it that you'll either have to do conversions of 7oz to west
coast 12oz bottles I can't remember EVER seeing 7oz bottles of RR (Corona
!BARF! on the other hand)...

Only problem is that others such as myself grew up in Tahoe and know the
road around Emerald Bay (the hardest part of the loop) like the back of
their hand... (What's a teenager to do???) On the other hand, I would
probably make for a great master of this ceremony... You all wouldn't want
me on the road anyway (for my unfair advantage) and I _could_ fabricate a
3-5 hour endurance event with more twisties than you can handle!!!)

One thing going for Tahoe is that it's ~350 north of Vegas, one HELL of a
lot cooler than Vegas April-September (pun INTENDED!) and just that much
closer to the open roads of Montana...

I hereby volunteer to coordinate the rally(s) if this goes to Tahoe, I
honestly can't imagine a rally around Vegas with the flat, straight, boring
roads... We all know BMWs are fun going fast in a straight line; but,
they're ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT once you throw in some twisties and Up/Downs.
Tell me how many and how long you want them, and I'll come up some REAL
memorable drives... I'd also be willing to help as much as I can (presently
from Tennessee; but that'll be changing back to the west coast in Q1 '99).

Let's see, the sailing is iffy at best (mountains on both sides tend to
prevent winds of any substance on a day that you'd want to be out there);
but, we can try... The Dodge Neon Challenge, gotta send that east of CC
just a little to maybe Silver Springs or (Lahontan Reservoir), both of which
have a bunch of desert all around... Toobin' the Truckee?? Are you
NUTS!!!??? That water is friggin' FREEZING!!! (it makes Lake Tahoe seem
WARM! and it's all snow melt) and moves fast all the way to Pyramid Lake
50mi North-Eest of Reno/Sparks! If you have an affinity for hypothermia,
I'll be happy to watch you from the banks.

If someone(s) want to help me out and if the Bubbas (or past attendees) can
give me some details about what PFI&II included (for reference). Give me
some feedback for scope:
- - How many days? (given we would have people ?driving? from the East Coast)
- - Where to stay? Lake Tahoe or Reno/Truckee, Casino/Hotel or smaller
Motel/Ski Lodge
- - ???
Food for thought...
