BMW v. Ford

Don't mean to start this thread all over again but thought you guys
might like to know (if you don't already) that Ford owns the other
prestigious English brand Aston Martin as well as 33% of Mazda.  As an
avid fan of the original Bond mobile I am glad to see that Ford has
actually helped in the development and in the survival of this
company.  If you look at Ford's website as well as Aston Martin's you
will notice that they don't mention each other.  BMW is by no means
small nor alone either, they own the Rover group which makes the Land
Rover, the Mini and the MG and as you all know by the year 2003 they
will own the brand name Rolls Royce.  BMW is alive and well alone.
