2 questions

1.  what is the best repair manual to buy.  i am not well versed in auto
mechanics and pictures help tremendeously.  i know of haynes, bently,
chilton.  are there any others.  what is the best one for the money?

2.  i have a 1994 530i (auto).  every now and then, it seems that the
transmission doesn't know what gear it want's to be in.  it will shift up
and then down and up again.  it doesn't happen all the time.
