More on the Loyalty Rebate

My thanks again to Dean Boucouras for posting a notice a few days ago about
the loyalty rebate from BMW to CCA members.   For those of you who saw the
"E" in rebate and unconsciously hit the page down key, this is for BMW CCA
members of more than one year who buy a new or "certified" used BMW.
Rebate ranges from 500 to 1500.  Dollars.  US.   I called the BMW CCA
national office (617-492-2500) and discovered that the program is for
thirteen months, for people who accept delivery after December 1, 1998.

I didn't ask about all models - - I'm looking at a 528 ($1000) and Dean
said that a 540 is $1500.   He's buying a 740 sport, and I assume it's 1500
on that too.   I would guess 500 on the three cars.

Since only two people inquired about my 97 M3 for sale and no offers have
come through, I'm going to have to trade the puppy in.   If the K&N air
filter doesn't fit the 5, I'll sell it.   Anyone interested?
