All about 740i/740il Seat Memory problems/Lucas injectors

I don't know how many of you that have 96/97/98/99' 7 series cars, but there
is a malady effecting some of them. The seat memory system (which includes
mirrors, tilt wheel, seat position, etc,) goes screwy. After having mine
checked numerous times (sometimes it does NOT store trouble codes) the factory
tech rep got involved and did the following:

Replaced the tilt wheel function MOTOR
Replaced the telescope wheel function MOTOR
Replaced the seat memory CONTROL COMPUTER

It has been a month, and no reocurrance SO FAR.

Now, for the 2nd problem. Mine is a 98' 7 series. It has (I was told to my
astonishment) LUCAS injectors!!. Car was missing/misfiring on start up. Traced
to fuel injectors "leaking down" overnight. They tossed ALL 8 Lucas injectors
and replaced with BOSCH injectors. Hmmmmmmmmm.

Comments/other related info/opinions??
