My understanding of this is that the 540 unit is identical to the Euro M3
unit except for the mounting tabs.  You should be able to use it with no
problems, though I have a Euro M3 in mine.  You'll need the Steve Brown
aluminum adaptor from Turner MS, its a critical part.  Rest of it you can
cobble up with a little bit of this, little bit of that. Hardest part to
find is a 3.5" d. round metal tube to go to the K&N!  I used a piece of
exhaust pipe off a White/Volvo diesel truck and cut it to fit. Connector is
Home Depot Plumbing Dept. Relocate one of the two horns (easy). Don't
forget to make or buy a turbulence/heat shield.
