325 cooling system/leaks/recalls

Someone recently asked about leaks into the passenger compartment, then
today someone put the following site on the list:

http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems

If you search this site under "recalls" for the BMW 325 you will come up
with a major recall on the cooling system that is described as allowing
leaks into the passenger compartment for one, but there are others
places that also leak. This is due to the failure of a component
allowing excess pressure in the cooling system. BMW is said to be
working on an engineering fix, but I have never heard of this. Has
anyone heard of the fix?
