problems with e36 wheels on e36 323 ?

Are there any known problems with putting e36 m3 
wheels on a 98 323 (e36) ?

I believe I recall that Steve Dinan said, at one of 
his tech sessions, that the only differences in the 
suspensions of the e36 m3 and standard e36 was that 
the m3 had more caster that was not obtainable on a 
standard e36 (just spring and shock differences) is
this right?
