Hi all. Finally back to the list after a short hiatus. I am living up in
northern alberta Canada. The local dealer (VW) has an '83 733i for sale.
here's the specs. I'm not a 7 series person, so I need to know if this
is a fair price and what known troubles to look out for in these cars.

Dark gray exterior.
Black leather interior
Fully loaded it seems. Has obc.
280,000 kms (approx 170k miles)
No rust dings etc. (small scratch on drivers door)
$5000 Canadian (about 3800 us).<<<<<<<<<<

For that mileage, that sounds a tad steep( compared to Toronto). But maybe
not for AB. Beware of electrical gremlins (HVAC controls especially)
