Being nice and slipping passed a ticket

Hi all, I remembered a while ago, and don't mean to start the thread again,
about officers and speeding tickets.  Well this weekend coming from the
mountains ( the skiing was awesome, VERY deep) I was doing 20 km/h over the
limit.  I got stopped, when the officer was talking to me all I did was be
VERY polite.  He took me into his cruiser and we started to talk.  He was
asking me questions like where I worked, where I was skiing, and so forth.
All the time I was very calm and straight with answers.  So end result was
he wrote down my speed as 2 over the limit, for a $35 dollar fine and no
points.  This one could have been an easy $100 or more, with 3 or 4 points.
With Christmas around the corner that is one policeman's ball that I really
didn't want to afford.  Any way just thought that I would share the
experience.
