The International Council of BMW Clubs has a guideline booklet for BMW
enthusiast organizations which lays out the conditions under which the roundel
can be incorporated into a club-type logo. Perhaps the winning design could be
joined with these "approved" styles to show a true tie-in. There are about 10
shapes and styles to choose from, all displaying the German penchant for good
order and neatness.

When the 'CCA made this transition about 7 or 8 years ago the American
penchant for flaming took many into orbit, leading to accusations of
everything from "selling out to BMW" through personal experiences as breeding
stock in amateur animal husbandry experiments. So please understand that this
is merely a suggestion.

These guidelines are available from the 'CCA national offices, among other
sources.
