The good news is that it's time to do a valve job on an 11 yr old car.
If you've been using the proper plug, and torque values, then someone in
the past has damaged the very delicate threads within the head.
The head must be off to properly repair it.
"HELICOIL" is the common method. This uses a special coil spring made of
squared-off wire strand. The hole in the head must be enlarged by drilling
it out cleanly, then re-threading it to the new size which is the O.D. of
the spring. The I.D. and thread pitch of the spring fits the spark plug.
Properly done, this will be stronger than the original.
