HD VS Sport Shocks
hi,
ok, i'm not a mathematician, a physicist nor a suspension expert BUT
wouldn't this logic explain why the car rose a little when the bilstein
shocks are installed?? the bilstein HD's rod on the shock itself is a bit
longer than the stock ones, and because of the way the springs and shocks
are installed, (mounting the upper strut mount to hold the springs in place
with the shocks), that would make the springs compress LESS than if it was
mounted on the stock shocks (with shorter rod)=>(longer overall installed on
HD's than if installed on stock shocks), despite the pressure of the
shocks?? so that also maybe be why it is lower when you mount the springs on
the sport shock than the HD shocks??
just a thought...
