As long as the diff is from a 318i... not a 325i or a 318ti, it will
physically fit.  Only other thing to watch out for is gear ratio.  Five speed
cars come with a 3.45 ratio and the AT cars had 4.45 ratios in them.  While
some would argue this would be a kewl upgrade, I'd guess most people would
find it a bit much ;)
