Fried Diff

I just contacted the shop that is going to replace my differential to ask
if the diff that I ordered had come in yet and the said it did, but...
I had ordered a differential from a 1997 318is the service manager at the
shop told me that the diff that they received was from a 1993 318i.  My
question is this... Will the '93 diff fit in a '95 318i?
