<E30> M3 Body Kit on Convertible?

I have seen a couple of pictures of E30 convertibles with the M3 body kit
and am wondering if it was actually an option (thinking not) or if you can
just use the E30 M3 body kit on the convertible. If you can, does anyone
know where one can be gotten? I have an 88 325ic that I would love to put
it on.
