My BMW factory tightening torque micro fiche is showing the torque values
as follows:
Intake manifold to head
Engine type (all)
M8 22 Nm
M7 15 Nm
M6 10 Nm
You will obviously be using the M6 10 Nm value as that is the only size
fastener used to hold the intake venturi's to the gasket and head. I'm
pretty confident that you will gain little from a simple retorque of the
intake. Sorry I don't have the exact Ft/lb to Nm conversion however, most
torque wrenches carry both markings. I have replaced the S14 rubber intake
manifold gaskets as a mechanic on several E30 M3's. When I replace the
gaskets I use Permatex Grey adhesive it seems to do wonders with longevity.
