excess wax removal

I bought a 95 318ti a few months ago and seem to have gone a bit
overboard waxing it.  I now have wax residue on all sorts of surfaces
where it doesn't belong.  What's the best way to remove this excess
wax?  It's mainly on the plastic trim as well as glass and some painted
surfaces.  The wax I used was Zymol Carbon.  Any advice would be
appreciated.
