<e36> 95 M3 production questions....

I'm sure this has been stated before, but what are the differences
between the M3's that were produced "early" versus the M3's that were
produced "later" in the 1995 production year?

What makes a 1995 M3 an "early" version?  What VIN numbers should I stay
away from?

I'm in the market for a 95 M3 and remember hearing things about the
"early" M3's as far as problems and such...
