Apologies in advance -- I realize that this topic has already
been whipped to death in past digests, but I want to
make sure I make the right choice with my $$$.
Has anyone done a dyno comparison (or individual
work-up) lately with the most popular E36 [esp M3]
cat-back exhaust systems? How about any new
developments iin the sound, build-quality or longevity areas?
I'm finally ready to make the move and get a cat-back
system for my '97 M3. A while back, the Supersprint was
by far the popular favorite, and was the only product widely
acknowledged as actually flowing better than the factory
M3 exhaust. BUT I know there are a number of digesters
- -- including Bubba Ben himself -- who strongly favor
the "es tuning" system and a few other ones.
As the "es" folks are only a half-hour drive or so from me,
and their product seems really nice and is about $500
less than the Supersprint, it seems like a great choice.
Does anyone have positive and/or negative stories to share
about the "es tuning" M3 exhausts?
Please cc: any comments to my private email
< mailto:Chris.Campbell@domain.elided > as I sometimes
fall behind on getting and/or reading digests...
Thanks,
Chris Campbell
