RE: Sumitomo Inquiry

Tommy,

Sumi does own Dunlop, and Falken too. The tires are pretty good,
especially considering the rather inexpensive price. I have them on one
of my cars (a SERIOUSLY modified big turbo Mitsu) & they do handle quite
well, nice & sticky, good in the rain. I decided to try them after I
became tired of burning off expensive rubber in a few thousand miles. I
am running a sister brand (Falken) on my Bimmer & am quite happy with
them as well. Bottom line, not as good as my previous Michelins but a
hell of a lot cheaper, last as long, better in the wet, just not quite
as sticky for really hard use.

~Hi everyone,
~Does anyone have any experience with Sumitomo and their HTR Z2 tire. It
is
~very competitively priced and the guy at Tire Rack told me Sumitomo
owns
~Dunlop so this tire is basically the same as the Dunlop SP9000. Any
~pro's/con's about these tires would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in
advance,
