<WOB> 944S2 vs. M3 track car

    If your not dead set on running in the BMWCCA track events ,then a 944
turbo S is the way to go for a track car. The E30 M3 and the 944S2 are both
EXCELLENT cars........but........on anything bigger than a tight auto-x
course the 944ts will kill them both. The 944ts isn't that amazing in the
really tight auto-x situations because of the turbo lag but it rock on a
normal race track.  Throw a set of APE Stage 2 chips in to the 944ts and you
have a 3000lb,300HP 320TQ,50/50 weight dist,Adj Koni's,BIG F40
Brembo's,LSD,etc....
Don't get me wrong ,I love BMW's but without big $$ spent on the engine
(like a 2.5L Stroker$) the E30 M3 will NEVER hold a 944ts on the track.
 If you must run in CCA events or are a real auto-x freak or need a usable
back seat ,buy the M3.
