Re: Sequential / Tiptronic Transmissions

I noticed an ad in the Nov. Rondel for Race Marque Systems.  On their web
site,  http://www.racemarque.com ,they advertise a Sequential Shifter
Conversion for E36 automatic transmissions.  I talked to Paul at Race Marque
and he said the kit contained a new transmission brain and a column mounted
shifter.  He also claims that the shifts are very fast due to the
reprogramming and that it was very similar to the Porsche Tiptronic.
I am very intrigued with this, but a little reluctant to spend $1495.00
without driving a car that had this system installed.

Anyone out there had a chance to try one of these?
