Yeah, it was!  I meant to type "2nd gear".  Sorry !  First gear would be
kinda ludicrous.  The best way to do this type of 'performance' test would
be to do a rolling second gear start.  Start the stopwatch when your tach
needle crosses 2,200 RPM and time it to 6,800 RPM.  Tach is easier to read
than the speedo and your speed range is not too high.

Anyone wants to set up a database with s standardized set of guidelines,
then this might be useful addition for Digesters. Run several bone stock
cars as a baseline.   Altitude and temp corrections may be necessary as
well.

Braking tests are too hard to do on a stopwatch.  You have to measure
distance and that usually requires a non-public area to try it out.
