I am no engineer, but my BL/SSS (that is a BenLiaw/Straight Short Shifter) =
definitely is LOWER than the stock shifter. I don't know where your 1 =
inch higher idea comes from. I have had my BL/SSS for about 6 months -- =
it was installed by the Master himself at SHifterFest One in NJ -- and I =
have loved every shift since; no complaints and no problems.
