Re: WOB: Guiness beer

To be completely accurate, the Guinness in a can is a draught. It is not
completely pasteurized, 3% of the wort is pasteurized and added to the
total. This is what gives it that bite that no other ale or lager can equal,
it is the best ale in the world. The bottled Guinness is an extra stout and
does not contain any pasteurized content at all. Both are among the best
examples of ale in the world. The can also has the "widget" that adds a
nitrogen charge to the beer when opened so that it always has the draught
taste and consistency. Neither one contains a great deal of alcohol, both
sit at around the 4% mark, it's the taste and quality... All the rolling
rock ever made or will be made does not equal a single swallow of Guinness!
