convertible top care and fog lamps

Fellow Bimmers,

I would like to know the proper cleaning and protective care for my Z3
convertible top and the plastic window.  How often should this be cleaned
and the protective coating applied?  Which specific cleaning agent and
protective coating do you recommend?  Are there any shop in the LA area
that specialize in convertible top care?  TIA
