The dealer price I got was $68 ! I ended up using two exhaust couplers 1.75"
I.D. on each end and clamped it all together. I had to cut about .75" off the
muffler pipes since the couplers had a crimp in the middle that wouldn't let the
pipes join like the OEM coupler did. The VW clamps are 45.5 mm but are only
about 20 mm wide so I didn't think they would hold as well. I did use the VW
clamps when I put the Supersprint on, great muffler BTW.
