<E30> shark attack!

everyone,

i installed the JimC chip the other day into my '89 iX (thanks to Josh
@Eurosport).  the installation was quite simple and it definately makes a
difference.  idle is smoother and the torque seems to come on a little
earlier.  the throttle response is good all the way to the new rev limit.
this helps with acceleration as now i can almost reach 60mph in second gear.
there used to be sort of a lull between the second and third upshift but not
anymore.  it seems like top end is better too but after driving my wife's
probe for quite some time it's hard to tell.  the power in her car dropped
of alot above ~6200.  this thing pulls strong all the way up - chip or no!
smooooooooothh.  definately a good upgrade!  i recommend it!  at some point
i would like to do a comparo between the stock and JimC chip.  i was too
anxious to do it before but i will do it someday and i will post the results
to my iX dedicated webpage which is under construction.  happy driving!  all
