M3 understeer

Hey people--
What's the best way to dial out some of the stock understeer on my 98 M3?
Switch to wider front tires or install camber plates? I don't want to
race, just want less understeer for street and occasional driver's
schools. If tires are the answer, would 235/40's or 245/40's work, with
stock suspension, on 8x17 rims?
