Same thing happened to me when I was in the process of buying my 540 in
May. The owner can get a transcript of all services performed by dealers
on the BMW network. The guy I bought mine from had a copy he had printed
out to show prospective buyers. Later I was at the dealer and asked to
verify the original sell date and they wouldn't give me any info unless
you were the owner.
