Rob, If you have the Hella lamps inset in the large molded "IS" spoiler, then
you CAN buy just the lenses. Your dealer must be smoking crack. I buy 2 or 3
a year usually $26-$30 each. I don't have the part numbers on hand, but call
Vines Automotive in Birmingham 1-800-214-4839 and tell them you want the
"lenses" for the "Hella" fog lights on you 325is. They will deal with you
straight unlike your cerebrally impaired stealer.

I guess I am the one smoking crack...It has come to my attention that the advice
I dispensed to Rob here is bogus. It seems there is a major difference between
an 87 (my car) and an 88 (Rob's car) 325is air dam setup with the fog lights.
Sorry Rob...sounds liked your hosed on this one dude. When you do get the new
lights, you may want to check out the 3-M protective film that guards against
rocks and such. I have not used it, but would consider it in your case. Maybe
someone can speak to the effectiveness of this product??
