Fan Clutch
Fellow Enthusiasts,
Just how much more difficult is the cooling fan to turn when the engine's
hot? My temp guage has been running near red lately after a prolonged
idle, and all other components and things to check appear OK. (radiator
pressure, switches, aux fan OK) The fan on the clutch, however, seems
just as easy to turn when the engine's hot as when it's cold. Increased
resistance to rotation is expected at high temps, right?
Like experiences are welcome. Thanks.
