disregard last message-sorry!

Didn't mean to do that... sorry! At any rate, I decided I didn't know as
much about it as I thought. I found a pretty neat site regarding radars
tho... it has summaries of a lot of current radar-related legislation on
the table today--if anyone is interested in writing their representatives,
check here for some ammo! Looks like the NY area in particular is getting
hit rather hard this year.

Btw, i think that when speed is checked from planes, it has to be posted
somewhere on the road that that sort of activity is going on. It's always
a good idea, when you see a plane, to check it's movement relative to the
road--if it's parallel to the road, more than likely they're checking your
speed. Very few pilots will follow a road... not very practical movement
for them. The area mentioned in the ticket in question seems perfectly
viable to me, as they can't pinpoint a spot where you were going X speed,
just over a certain distance. I'm not entirely sure that a police officer
has to be the person clocking you overhead. I could certainly be wrong
tho. Usually the "aerial system" they use is a stopwatch. They start the
clock when your car goes by marker #1 and stop it at marker #2. I don't
know what VASCAR is, doesn't sound like the same thing tho. I think
that's all I can contribute.

Something I've been pondering for many months now: Does anyone know what
the different color lights a police car displays mean? blue+white is
roadside assistance? red+blue is traffic or other offense, red+white is
emergency? Or does it mean nothing at all.

BMW content you ask? I'm going to get a new M5 as soon as I can
raise 100K. Anyone want to buy some Girl Scout Cookies?
