<E36> Brake Fluid Boiling and fade

I need some opinions regarding Brake pads and a recurring situation I'm
having with my car. I know that this is certainty the place to come for
Opinions! 8^)

My car is a 1996 328is. I currently run ATE PowerDiscs, Pagid street pads,
and ATE Superblue brake fluid. Its a sport package car with the 16 inch
double spoke wheels.

Whenever I do a driver's school, my brake pedal seems to drop after only a
few laps... Once this occurs, my braking seems to stabilize and I can run
for the rest of the day with the low pedal. The brakes will fade a bit
during each session, but after the car cools down between sessions, they are
as they feel like they did right after the pedal dropped the first time.
The low brake pedal will 'fix itself' after about 3 days or after a
bleeding. If I bleed the brakes between track sessions, the pedal will drop
again after a few laps, just as if it were the first session of the day.

I assume that my brake fluid is boiling, and then that I'm getting some
subsequent brake fade. I do between 20K and 25K of street driving per year
on the car, so I can't go to a big brake setup with no backing plates, or
full race pads, etc...

SO, my question to you is...what do you run for street/track pads and do you
have this problem?

Bob at Korman Auto Works suggested the Ferodo 4011 pads. Has anyone used
these with success?

Thanks,
