S52 is direct bolt in, just like S50, there is virtually no external
difference from M50 to S52.  Electronics are different, including location
of sensors, etc. An S52 with complete harness and control system would be
required.
With a stock S52, your standard trans and diff will hold up fine. Drop in a
supercharger and you may want to upgrade.
