aluminum corrosion

I could be wrong about this, but I'm fairly positive aluminum
corrodes, and rather nicely at that. Or at least, aircraft aluminum does.
My father bought an airplane a few years ago and it was grounded shortly
thereafter because the entire thing had corroded from the inside out. Of
course, planes are very different from cars. 20 year old cars aren't that
common, and the operating conditions are completely different, but it
should hold true for both. I'd be careful especially in humid areas, such
as Florida. Corroded aluminum is *not* a pretty sight. Sorry if none of
this pertains to cars...

p.s. LIFE is dangerous. Doesn't mean you should hide in your closet tho.
Who's to say that 65mph is perfectly safe and 68 isn't? It's one of those
risks you can choose to take or not.
