Air Sensor

I own a 1984 E30. The air temp sensor is missing. (BMW part # 12621
286074) My mechanic has had the part on order for three weeks and still
does not have one nor does he have an ETA. I have contacted a couple of
BMW parts operations and one has a replacement made by Lucas, which I do
not want. The other doesn't know what brand he has. I want OEM or Bosch.
Can anyone recommend a good source.
