Scoff and choke away. Your little 318i would get beat by either. And
you're right, it was a little rant.

Actually a pretty funny response if you don't take into consideration that
you have just offended half of the United States in one fashion or another.

I would put money on the fact that your chances of survival in your Bimmer
are not that much better if you are going 50 MPH. If you have a head (or
slightly) on, your dead in either car. If you wreck by yourself around a
turn or something, your chances are probably about the same. I've had 5
Bimmers and I do understand your stance on safety, but I have also had
Honda's, Toyota's and big American cars. If your chances of surviving a
head on in a Bimmer is 5 in 100 and your chances are 4 in 100 in a Honda,
either way your probably dead. BMW would market this as 20% safer than a
Honda. Don't let it give you a false sense of security though.

I think you need to grow up. My post was not an attack on BMW, nor praise
for any other make. You have gotten so into having 'The Ultimate Driving
Machine" that you can't see the forest through the tree's. There are
plenty of other cars out there. BMW makes a great car (evidenced by the
fact that I have two and will be adding another shortly). Other's have
great cars. I like BMW's because they make me feel good. I don't knock
other car's because they aren't BMW's.

BTW, you are NOT the kind of person I would ever let NEAR my car, much less
sell it too. You would probably get an M and start scoffing and choking
about the simple "Non-M" car's. This is the type of snobbery that makes me
scoff and choke.

Have a nice day.
