Guys, guys!

1.) News happens. If a dealer mistreats you, go elsewhere. If all the BMW
dealers mistreat you, buy from a private party or get a Mercedes.

2.) As a college student, I hate to say it -- but the age limits are there
for a reason. Most students I know are hard-pressed just to drive around
town safely, let alone fly along a track at 100mph. My driving is
improving, but it's certainly not perfect yet.

3.) People my age who make 50k a year are the exception, not the rule. (I'm
in the "rule" category, alas :) Of those who are lucky enough to have that
kind of money, most look it. Either they dress like Sloanies (i.e, Sloan
Business School) or they wear trendy brand-name stuff and expensive shades.
Walking through the door in a T-shirt and ripped jeans is not going to help
things.

4.) If I were a car dealer in Boston, I'd cringe at the thought of giving a
test drive to *anyone*! People here couldn't drive well if their lives
depended on it, not to put too fine a point on it.
