<E30 iX> exhaust replacement

hello everyone,

i am going to be replacing the stock exhaust on my
soon-to-be-mine-on-october-16th '89iX.  i am wondering what the concensus is
for aftermarket exhausts.  or is the stock just as good?  i will be putting
in a JimC chip and am very much considering a K&N cone intake.  noise is
kind of a concern, no straight pipes.  price is more of a concern.  i
checked out the Turner website and it seems my choices are limited to ansa
and ansa freeflow.  the stromung and remus are out of  my price range.  does
anyone have any comments on what they've tried and how easy the installation
was?  i would like to open up the exhaust a bit and add a little tone.  all
help is greatly appreciated.
