Well, All I would say is consider this.
In April I started looking for a nice 94 or 95 540. By the end of May
what I found was this. 
1995 540 6 speed Black/Black
Buid Date 9/95 Sold new 4/96
5 year 100,000 extended warranty
Car cover
CD player
37,000 MILES!!!
The seller originally asked $35,000 but after 2 weeks he let it go for
$29,000
While I think that's an exceptionally ggod price, I could get a 94 540
auto any day of the week for $25,000 with 40,000 to 50,000 miles around
here.
