The time to do something is right now. If not the ATF will surely leak out
of the dust boots make a mess and possibly leak on to your front tires. This
(trust me on this, been there) will not enhance tire grip. You could be in
for a wild ride on your next fast sweeper.
I went the Christopher Pawletz (sorry for the spelling Christopher) and
drained the rack and reservoir and snipped the belt.
You get used to it.
